do you think this will be a good front set up to listen to music more than too watch music im looking for speakers but im affraid to buy satelite speakers because they lack the midrange which i crucial when listening to music so im going with bookshelves

For the price, the Polks will give you good sound. If you want to go up in price a little, you can get better sound, but once you get to a certain point, twice the money only gets you 10% better sound. On the other hand, speakers make the biggest difference in your sound system so spend most of your budget on good speakers. Some other good brands to consider that will give you superior sound depending on how much you spend...
