the prince of peace? - so he's the one who murdered millions of people with the flood - or, who did that?

Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is the almighty God and He doesn't change.

People in OT times only could understand might. They would not believe that God is almighty if God did not show them His might. So, God showed the people His might.

Then when God judged that the time in history was right, He showed them who He really is, the God of Love, Justice, and Mercy.

Edit:
By the way, in case you didn't know, we all die. But our souls live forever. It's just a matter of WHERE you will be for eternity....Heaven or Hell, you decide.

One other thing. Whatever we have to go through, suffering and death, Jesus has gone through all that personally for us. So we can't say that God allows us to go through anything that He wouldn't go through Himself.

What flood? During Noah's time? No, that was God. Jesus had not been born yet. New Orleans? That was bad planning and trying to save money when building the levee. Either way, millions of people were not wiped out. If you aren't talking about either of these, then you will have to be more specific.

Jesus is the Son of God and Jesus is God. it really is a both/and under no circumstances an both/or. John a million:a million-4 in the starting up became the note, and the note became with God, and the note became God. (2) He became in the starting up with God. (3) All issues were made by using him, and without him became no longer any ingredient made that became made. (4) In him became life, and the life became the gentle of adult males. Jesus customary worship from Thomas, He did not tell Thomas to renounce. John 20:28-29 Thomas responded him, "My Lord and my God!" (29) Jesus stated to him, "have you ever believed because you've seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." Jesus also stated that He became God in John 8:fifty 8: John 8:fifty 8 Jesus stated to them, "extremely, extremely, I say to you, before Abraham became, i'm." Jesus, the Son, worshipped the God, the daddy. No, we are no longer all "children of God". in case you reject the truth of Jesus Christ, as you look to do, you're a baby of your father, the devil. John 8:40 4 you're of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He became a assassin from the starting up, and does no longer stand in the truth, because there is not any truth in him. at the same time as he lies, he speaks out of his own personality, for he's a liar and the daddy of lies. "And Jesus won't be able to be both son and God, using the indisputable fact that couldn't make experience." because you reject and can't realize it, that does no longer make it unfaithful. i'm constructive there are a kind of issues that you do not realize if you're honest, even with the truth that, they are nonetheless authentic. You obviously do not appreciate and love Jesus, you reject His truth. He under no circumstances stated He became actually a prophet, although the very Son of God.

No, Jesus is God's liberal hippie son who slums it on Earth. God the Father is only in heaven.

In Chicago, God the Father lives on the Gold Coast, and Jesus goes to the bars near Hyde Park.

That is correct. He brings peace between God and man through the blood of His cross; and He brings judgement upon those who refuse to repent.

2Th 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
