I lost my job day before yesterday due to oppose undue things to do. Now following the word's by Poet T. S. Eliot : "Because these wings are no longer wings to fly./But merely vans to beat the air./The air which is mow thoroughly small and dry./ Smaller and dryer than the will./Teach us to care and not to care./Teach us to sit still."
Thus I keeping me serene. How long I can take this remedy?

My Dad lost his job a few years ago. I remember it, he went through depression and spent a lot of time hanging around the house, looking through photos of him and his coworkers-some who were his friends.
Even though I wasn't my Dad, I felt really bad for him. It was hard for him to overcome his troubles and start applying for new jobs. Finally my sisters and my mom encouraged him to apply for new jobs and tried everything we could to help him realize that each day was something new and wasn't meant to be slept away. He got a new job in a new town and started a fresh life. Now, he still misses the people from his job-but that's what e-mail is for. He is now happy again and is the good ol' Dad he always is.

I won't lie to you-you're going to be pretty sad and this will be something difficult. But I CAN tell you that you should do your best to use this time to apply for new jobs and stay in good spirits. Remember this: Things could be worse.
I can also tell you this, not only from seeing my Dad do this but also from what I believe: You can overcome this time in your life. You may not believe it now-but you can. Believe.

You seem to be in real bad shape. First I say be safe in a safe place Then accept that you are a loner and start small again. Depression is from wrong expectations of love and life. You will only be able to recover slowly so take it easy and sit still. Go to depression chat rooms in Yahoo and read these q and a postings. It will take a long time to relearn life. There are plenty of us out there. We all went where you are now. It is possible to survive. Trust god if you are not sure.

Can't share loneliness. What does a job have to do with your happiness? It's not the SOURCE of your income, it's just a channel. GOD is the source.
