I'm a single mom who goes to college full time, watches children, and sells AVON aggresively. I find my time is filled with everyone else's needs, school, and work and have no time to fullfil my needs of a personal relationship. I have not had a problem worrying about it until I got to know someone better that I have known for a short while. I'm just wondering if the majority of the guys out there would be understanding if they dated someone so busy. Would it be a problem if there was limited time spent together or would the relationship be doomed from the very beggining? I don't even know if this guy is interested in me so this may just be a big waste of time but if he is I feel like I would be missing something if I didn't see how it would be.

I don't want to try and date other people but thank you for the personals site just in case that was the case. I'm actually interested in this one person I have gotten to know. I didn't even care about not dating until I took a little bit of time to get to know him.

been there 2 honey!
I looked up from life one day and realized i had not been on a date in 2 years! and sex- well- that was another sad story...ha ha

I was nose to the grindstone to make a better life for my son. He Dad was gone and that was a blessing.

I hope this helps. I found a sitter on Friday and Sunday afternoons. That was MY time with adults.
I actually traded Fridays with another single MOM I met at a singles mixer one night.

I actually met my husband at work. He walked into my office and I JUST knew he was the one. I actually said it out loud to my partner and she laughed- we have been married for 10 years.
This is my son's Daddy and they are as IN love as we are!
I am just blessed.
Best wishes- I will keep you in my thoughts.

fyi- i never mentioned my child till the third date or so- I wanted to know the real man, not just the "show" man from date one or two.

i was a single mom too and i know how you feel, so let me say, make the time!!! all work and no play as they say really is the truth, especially with us moms!! everyone needs a healthy relationship with someone. and even though we are busy and tired etc...if we skip that part of our lives it will take its toll!! just explain to him the situation and if he's interested then he will understand!! trust me. and even if you have to let the small things go once in a while its worth it just so you can have a little you time!! GOOD LUCK i hope you get what you want!!!

Not necessarily, lol it's called a date, I think because they set a date together on which they are gonna go out. I think different people do different things on their dates.

well the way i see it......you won't be in school forever. once you graduate and get a job for whatever you went to school for.....you won't have to sell avon. eventually, in time, you will have time for a relationship. kids get older and friends/family could always step in and lend a helping hand to give you that break. now if this guy or whoever else you ever meet......if they're really interested and care.....they'll understand and things will work out. i do wish you luck. nobody deserves to be alone/lonely. everyone needs companionship. just think....you'll be finished with school one day. and your kids......kids don't stay little. things will work out.

As long as you can make time for him on a Saturday night, you really shouldn't see him more than once or twice a week until you are married...slow and steady always wins the race! So, he will have to understand, if a man sees you too much he isn't as passionate and his interest fades!

FIRST BEFORE LOOK AT NO TIME FOR DATING, YOU NEED
TO SEE IF HE IS INTERSTED, THEN GO FROM THERE.
YOU CAN MAKE TIME IF YOU REALLY WANT TO GET TO
KNOW HIM. BUT FIND OUT WHAT THE DEAL IS FIRST.
