Jesus (pbuh) never claim that he is son of The God. Prophet Abraham, Moses(Peace and blessings on all of them))never mentioned before that God Almighty have a Son.
How many sons does the Bible tell us that God Almighty has?
Jacob is God's son and firstborn:"Israel is my son, even my firstborn" Exodus 4:22. [*]Solomon is God's son "He shall build an house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son":
2 Samuel 7:13-14. [*]Ephraim is God's firstborn: "for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn" Jeremiah 31:9 (who is God's firstborn? Israel or Ephraim?). [*]Adam is the son of God "Adam, which was the son of God" Luke 3:38. [*]Common people (you and me) are the sons of God:
"Ye are the children of the LORD your God" Deuteronomy 14:1. [*]"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God" Romans 8:14.[*]"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name" John 1:12. [*]"That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;" Philippians 2:15. [*]"Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: ... now are we the sons of God" 1 John 3:1-2. [*]"When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?" Job 38:7. [*]"Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD," Job 2:1. [*]"Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD," Job 1:6. [*]"when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men," Genesis 6:4. [*]"That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair" Genesis 6:2

As we can see, the use of the term "son of God" when describing normal human beings was not at all an uncommon practice among Jesus' people.
Islam teaches that Jesus (pbuh) was a human being, not a God. Jesus (peace be upon him) continually emphasized this to his followers throughout his mission. The Gospel of Barnabas also affirms this fact. Once again, Grolier's encyclopedia says:
"...Most problematical of all is the title "Son of Man." This is the only title used repeatedly by Jesus as a self-designation, and there is no clear evidence that it was used as a title of majesty by the post-Easter church. Hence it is held by many to be authentic, since it passes the criterion of dissimilarity."

Jesus is the son of God. Please if your area Muslim read the bible then make a statement Mat 8:29 And they gave a loud cry, saying, What have we to do with you, you Son of God? Have you come here to give us punishment before the time? Mat 16:16 And Simon Peter made answer and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Mat 27:54 Now the captain and those who were with him watching Jesus, when they saw the earth-shock and the things which were done, were in great fear and said, Truly this was a son of God. Mar 1:1 The first words of the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Anyone who denies that Jesus is not the son of God will not have salvation I ask you to accept Jesus as your savior or you will be rejected by The Supreme God. The bible is the only true word of God. Christianity was 500 hundred years before Islam. Repent or you will face final death. As a Christian I Love every one even Muslims Jews Buddhist but no one goes to my father if not through Jesus.Amen

Muslims do not believe that Jesus is the son of God because we believe that God can't have a son. We believe the Koran which is spelled Qur'an doesn't have any mistakes. We do believe that Jesus was a prophet, not God nor son of God.
Christians believe in trinity. They believe that God is three seperate parts that still somehow are one. This doesn't make sense because how could God die? Even if you were to say only a part of Him died that would still not not make sense because you claim that God is three seperate parts that are ONE.
In Islam it is simple. There is only one God. Also Muhammad is His Prophet like Moses, Jacob, and Abraham are Prophets.

Like Common Sense said earlier, Mohammad had to do this to set up his ridiculous excuse for a "Religion".
Considering that Mohammad had married wealthy women from their 40's to 65 old when he was in his 20's, one can easily guess how sincere this cunning guy was.
He got this "Religion" idea from a Christian Missionary to whom his first wife Khadijah had taken him to in the hope of getting him to see the light. He saw the "Light", all right, he saw the chance to make himself better than the small time gigolo he was and ... Bingo! He comes up with this story that that the Archangel Gabriel came to him and chose him to be the Prophet!?
And, the fun of it all is that this guy was illiterate!?
Yet, he said that the Archangel told him all the places where the Torah of the Jews and the Bible of the Christians were "corrupted" and gave him the "task" of correcting all those misguided people!?
Considering there were a lot of people who followed the maniac and continue to do so, even today; it only goes to show how many people need serious psychiateric help.
Merry Christmas!!!!

The quran show no understanding of the meaning of the title "son of God" In quran means nothing more then to imply that God had sex, In the Bible this is not what the title means
In quran Jesus is given the title of messiah and yet denied the title of the son of God the Bible clearly teaches that both of these title go together.

Because the idea of god having a son or daughter make christians no different to the pagan arabs of Mecca !!! The pagan Arabs of Mecca believe the invinsible god of the most high have daughters.... They also believe that the angels and demons are god's almighty's daughter..... Not only that, they draw images of jesus, , Moses, Abraham and Ishmael inside the walls of the Ka'bah. Besides that, they placed the bloody mesopotamian god Hubal in the middle of the Ka'bah. but thanks to the Messenger of god the most high, Muhammad, he destroyed all the idols of the Ka'bah.I love watching the movie called " the message". I really enjoyed to see how muhammad destroyed Hubal. It was really inspiring.... Not only that, he cleanse the wall of the Ka'bah of images of the prophets drawn by the Nestorian Christians and pagan arabs so that the cleanliness and sanctity of the temple of god the most high be restored !! ;-)

news for you. Muslims are not pagan. they're your spiritual siblings. Muslims worship the same god as the Christians and Jews. a pagan is anyone who is not a Christian, Jew or Muslim.
in other words ... anyone who doesn't worship the Bible god.
for instance ... i would be considered a pagan ... or more accurately a "heathen". "pagan" generally refers to folks who worship deities other than the Bible god. a heathen is someone who worships no deities or gods.
i am, however, not an Atheist.

I am not God so I can't answer those questions! Jesus status to God was raised later on by Christian Saints! Jesus never made a statement that he is God.

we reject him as the son of god because he wasn't how about that? We teach that he was a very, very good guy ok? Its just like Jesus(pbuh) did those things through the authority of Allah just like Moses (pbuh) parted the sea.
