Well you decide.
The Big Bang Theory was introduced by Georges Lemaitre, Catholic priest. (proven later by the Hubble telescope and others)
The father of genetics was a Christian monk, Gregor Mendel.

By contrast,
The theory of evolution by Darwin has never been proved.
Some atheists say that the Big Bang proves that the universe was created from "nothing", that is the point of singularity that is the Big Bang arose out of nothingness. This inspite of contradicting the First Law of Thermodynamics, a proven law of energy being constant. (conservation of energy).
The Second Law of Thermodynamics or the law of increasing entropy is in direct contradiction to the theory of evolution, as it states that the bigger the system, the more disordered it becomes without expending additional energy from outside to order the system.
The most scientific Christians bring forth theories that can be proven. The atheists on the other hand have an agenda that is set up in direct opposition to the existence of God and proves the statement made not long ago.
"A little(INCOMPLETE) knowledge is a dangerous thing"

No atheist can tell you why the laws of nature are mathematical and support the second law of thermodynamics at the same time. All they offer is pet theories, as long as God or an intelligent designer can be rejected in that theory and the false hope that their theory will some day be proved.

Some are, some aren't.

It's still to early to stack the Diests and Theists up against the Atheists in the scientific and phisophical realms.

Certainly Atheist Karx Marx over estimated the validity that Communism was superior to Capitalism. It doesn't mean he was wrong, but he certainly over estamiated himself.

We have yet to see if Einstein (a diest) triumphs over Heisenberg (an Atheist).

Certainly MORE practical stuff has come from Einstein.

The jury is still out.

Atheists are into the more theoritcal and unprove.

Theists are into the more practical and provable.

The Catholic Abbot who fathered Genetics and made plant grafting possible, as an example.

Darwinism (a qusi-diest) has yet to make anything POSSIBLE, it's all still conjecture.

Generally speaking YES. Christians also have something atheists don't have, and that is WISDOM. Only wisdom comes from God.
For example look at all the most intelligent minds in the world, and all they can come up are some really kakamami failures such as World Wars, socialism, dienetics, communism, the UN (a total failure), etc.

It depends. Some Christians, like Paul, C.S. Lewis and such, they are much smarter than these Atheists who say "Can God Create a rock so big he can't move it" thinking that disproves God's power..... Well to think of it, I am smarter than those Atheists too.

But again, some Christians can really be dull and ignorant, not knowing why they believe what they do or how to defend it.

A person becomes a Christian for reasons independent of his intelligenge. The factors that create their faith vary, such as place of birth, culture, indoctrination, etc.
Simply put, Christians, in the majority, have their faith passively infused into their brains. Other than the converted ones, they have no control in deciding on their faith.
Most atheists adopt their faith after some reflexion and decision making, based on what they can perceive.
You take it from there.

Rank of intelligence:
1. Atheists who pretend to be Christians to control the Christians.
2. Atheists who are too proud to pretend.
3. Christians that actually believe the B.S. that the first group feeds them.

you cant say a whole group of people is more intelligent than another group of people, it is an individual kind of thing. Christians are more gullable, and more spiritual, more intelligent, perhaps some of them, as are some atheists more intelligent. however, i think that was a STUPID question
merry christmas. :)

Depends on the person. I do think Christians and mulims have a lacking understanding of science.(not all but most)

I wouldn't compare the intelligence. You will find really smart people on both sides and I don't like generalizations that don't apply to the whole group.

But they are certainly more gullible.

Honestly, depends on the individuals in question.

I've met idiots and enlightening people of many faiths and philosophies.
