I found out my girlfriend made out with another guy, a close male supposedly platonic friend of hers. I know him, we're all mutual friends. I trusted her, even when I had my doubts about this character. She doesn't know I know. I'm not a violent person but I'm on the verge of doing something, confronting this guy with a 'what the ****?' Could that do any good or would that just make me appear even more pathetic. Would that let her know that she's *worth* fighting for? I don't know the details of this, who initiated it, how long it lasted, I just know that they 'made out.' I'm so hurt by this, I still love her despite it all. This is messed up . . .

Sweet man- so sorry this happened at this time of year.
I do feel worst of all for you. A betrayal is a horrible thing for anyone at any age!
Here is sage advice from someone who has been IN your shoes, yet walked into my home to find my boyfriend and best friend IN MY BED! It took me years to recover from the lose of a friend, more so than the man betraying me! I am such a better person on this side of that event. honestly!
Okay with that opening sentence- loose her! sorry dude- that's a hussy. Love or not! Cut your looses man! She will only hurt you again and "fighting" like roosters is just stupid when she isn't worth that. You fight to protect HONOR and redeem respect and she has shown you none of either! You will live life to know that she was NOT the one for you and be thankful.
As you know the woman controls the "stop and go" button.
Save your dignity and dump her this coming Friday, just before Christmas and tell her it is cheaper than a lump of coal!
She cheated and that is a deal breaker!

Don't confront the guy. If she cheated on you, she doesn't deserve you. If you did your best to make her feel special and appreciated, and she rejected you, there's nothing you can do.
It really sucks and is unfair to you but everything will go better if you keep your head. Also, you'd probably end up appearing more pathetic. At least, that's what happens to me when I get aggressive. I think that's a problem with not being aggressive; it feeds itself.

wow sorry to hear your in this situation, well as a woman take my advice and find out the facts first!! do not let your emotions get the better of you because it will just make things worse. i know from experience what rushing in without facts can do to a relationship. just ask her first what happened. i know your pissed but you need to know. tell her how much she means to you and you need to be able to trust her not to lie to you. reasure her that you want to be with her but that its not ok for her to messing around behind your back. if she loves you and wants to be with you she will tell you the truth, but if you honestly think she's not then maybe you should take a step back and let her get her priorities straight. it takes trust not just love to hold a relationship together, don't shortchange yourself. GOOD LUCK!!

I would confront HER. Maybe the guy didn't know she had a boyfriend. So getting your teeth kicked down your throat is probably not a good idea. I would just tell her to get lost and start dating someone else. Ah, drama! Gotta love it!

you need to confront her with the what the ****! if you want this to work you need to tell her you know so she can either reassure you it was JUST makeout or more than you know either way she needs to know that she's not as sneaky as she thinks, and no i dont think kicking his *** would please her, remember it is SHE who owes you NOT him! youre a good guy to want to make it work with her after that maybe you'll regret that soon enough! good luck

Dump her if shes going to cheat on you. Don't get in a fight with him, why get in a fight with him if she cheats with you. Even if you win she probelly just cheat again
Good luck anyway
