I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. The A/C in both Cold and Heat settings blows very low amounts of air on the passenger side. I do not have the dual zone controls however. I have the manual, single control. However at all speeds the driver side vents blow enormous amounts of air compared to the passenger side vents. The floor vents seem to be similar however it would appear again that the driver side has more air flowing than the passenger (both front and under seat floor vents). The temperature stays constant but the air flow is extremely off.

Probably an actuator for one of the doors not working properly, could be something stuck in the vent system.

Best thing on something like this is to take it to the dealer, they'll have had much more experience than independent shops on problems like this. Sometimes, if it's a common problem, they can tell real quick what it is.

A/C is a black art. Few shops do it, and even fewer are good at it, take it into a creditable shop with good reviews, or go without A/C, DO NOT TRY TO RECHARGE THE A/C SYSTEM YOURSELF, when you do that, it contaminates the system and it will not be able to be recharded by a garage because of contamination. Thoes cans usually only work for a few weeks, so its just not worth it.

sounds like the blower motor is not working correctly or at all. it could also be the vent doors which allows you to switch from floor to dash vents. isn't working. Check for vacuum leaks about the heater control switch.
