He is coming. Nobody knows exactly when. And as far as my take, read the book of Revelations. It spells it out for you and that is what I believe.

My take is that Jesus Christ was the promised Messiah. If you believe in his death, burial, and resurrection, then you must believe in his eventual return, simply because he said he would. This is the blessed hope which is the basis of my faith. We all know that faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things unseen. So faith is required. You have to take the man for his word, or disregard it all together. I simply believe. I've expected his return at anytime, for the last 31 years, since I became a believer. Have I quit living, and sat on a mountaintop awaiting his return? No. Am I discouraged because he hasn't come back yet? Absolutely not! The longer he waits, the more thankful I am because, it shows how merciful he really is. He is giving everyone another day to decide to follow him.

Christians believe in the second coming, the Jews are waiting for the (first coming) messiah ( they believe Jesus was a teacher/prophet not the messiah) and the Muslims are waiting on the 12th emum which will usher in the end times( and they believe Jesus to be a good person but not the son of god)
i personally believe Jesus is the savior of the world and is waiting to come back on that day of the lord.

I do not believe in religion i try to live mutual-ness as messiah, that's my savior, and this is my prophesy.
Whatever the collective conscientiousness is, it can never be categorized, corralled or controlled, by any, no matter what you call it, or yourselves.
I know that when you or i look in each and every other eye, that the awareness behind those eyes comes from the same place as behind yours and mine.
At end, as at beginning, there is no representative, agent or broker between, we are all of one, unless we chose to "be", otherwise.
Conduct your life within mutually considerate and commonly beneficial endeavor…or not, it is this simple.
But of course this is not too popular a path though many claim ideals and hold up effigy.
It is time to pay heed, because the dusk, of our days of assessment, descends.
Upon all those remaining.
Are there any left unnoticed? Who are trying to share, openly, evenly, and earnestly but are still being made mockery of, even attacked, shunned, feared, ignored, corrected, and or drowned out by self-serving motives and selfish interests?
Because i can see but few.
How's that for a different scenario?

I believe he will not come physically because his perfect human life was the price he paid to redeem us--he cannot take it back and still have the sacrifice be a valid one. I do, however, believe that he will turn his attention to the earth to do away with Satan and destroy 2 groups of people: 1.) those who do not know God (because they have chosen not to) and 2.) those who do not obey him. That is what Armegeddon is all about.

I'm not sure Muslims do, actually. And Jews are still waiting for the first coming -- which they believe to be the only coming.
It's all really quite silly.

the muslim "messiah" sounds alot like the christian "antichrist", because christians are expecting an evil world ruler to oppress the world, while muslims are expecting their messiah to come back and force islam on the world or persecute non-muslims if they don't convert...
