I want an explorer for Linux which has a interface similar to the Windows Explorer. I have heard that Linux Explorer will do the job. But thier website http://www.x-plorer.org is down. Could someone suggest an alternative website where I can download this software? Are there other alternatives to Linux Explorer?

Assuming the file explorer for your desktop is not suitable I can only suggest that you check here: http://www.linuxrsp.ru/win-lin-soft/table-eng.html

The file browsers in KDE or Gnome are both quite similar in functionality to explorer.

for Linux I use knoppix live and it uses Firefox. Knoppix live is a DVD that you use as an operating system you run right from the disk. you do not have to install it. i like IE7 and use it but when I go where no man should go I use the Knoppix and firefox. Its freeware and if you want a copy send me your address and I will send a copy.
