The puppy try to nurse chews baby's toes off{bitting on the nipple will get the milk going in momma dog.} The two people hear nothing, remenber they are in the same room. Puppy gets put to sleep. Is this right, shouldn't the people be punish and both the dog and baby removed to some where better?

Why do people beleive that tasting blood makes a dog mean. I have fed my dogs on raw meat never have I had one turn. Remenber dogs are geared to eat raw meat.

Hunting dogs taste blood all the time, I have seen very few say bird dogs go nuts because of it.

I have heard that a judge is going to say if the puppy is going to be put down. I guess there was a lot of people pissed off and a order was given not to kill the puppy. They could had taken its head to test the bgrain for rabies.

Babies and puppies can mix, I raised children & dogs at the same time without issue. However....my babies were never left unattended with the dogs of any age.
It is a shame that a child's been maimed for life and a puppy was killed due to the [arents not having the sense to supervise them well.

I absolutely agree with you I think those parents were on some kind of drugs or completely wasted on something,,, because when my kids were babies I was up and checking on them if they were just moving around, and i have talk to alot of mothers about this and they think the same thing cause they are the same way as i am cause my youngest is 10 years old and i still dont sleep hard cause im affraid of not hearing her when she needs me,,, I think that baby should be put in foster care and that puppy shouldnt have been put to sleep,,, I didnt hear about them putting it to sleep but that really piss's me off cause that puppy shouldnt have been away from its momma yet,,, the cps needs to take that baby away and find out what really happen to that baby cause i really dont think that is what happen to the baby in the first place,,, sorry about rambling but it really eerrkks me when i hear about child and animal abuse and the parents are at fault here and blame it on a poor inisent puppy,, that is my in put on this matter

Are you saying they put that poor pitbull puppy to sleep for that?????????????????? THAT IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! That puppy was NOT at fault. Puppies chew, it's what they do and that puppy did NOT know he was hurting that baby. OMG that pisses me off!!!!!! The parents are the ones who need punished for 1) buying a puppy while having a newborn baby and 2) allowing the dog to be around the baby without them watching closely. MORONS!!!!

First of all, anyone who adopts a puppy WHILE caring for a 6 week old baby is just psycho.
The puppy should not have been put to sleep--puppies are easiest to adopt.
Baby shouldn't have been taken away--just poor judgment.
Or maybe I just don't get your question.

yes the people should be punished for both child endangerment and animal cruelty not paying attention to either the baby or puppy is the same thing because that young of a puppy is like having a baby you have to take care of them more than an older child or puppy so yes the people should be held accountable for what happens to the baby and puppy!

Yes, the parents need to be arrested and the baby taken into custody and made a ward of the state. I heard something about that. Puppies and babies don;t mix. Puppies bite all the time. Stupid parents!

Irresponsible people.
Both with the child and the dog.
Dogs and small kids do not mix. Sounds like more supervision all around is needed.
No the dog should not have been put down and the home situation should be looked at by CPS.

How terribly sad. How negligent and retarded of the parents. The puppy has to get put down becuz he's tasted blood. But that poor child will be maimed for life.

I think the puppy should live it didn't know any better. Another thing is how in the world did the parents not hear the baby? They had to. The parents should get child endangerment. In my opinion.

YOU ASKED THIS LAST WEEK........
ISN'T THE PUPPY NOW 7 WEEKS OLD? and chewed something else off by now? A 6 week old puppy has no more than hardened tissue as teeth, so I doubt it chewed anything off.
I think YOUR question has chewed my last nerve off..............
