no you don't need a boyfriend to be sucessful in life. most guys these days just want to get in your pants and leave your ***. being single is'nt that bad because you can focus on better things then worrying about a guy.

no, one is not required to have a boyfriend or girlfriend to make them happy. find your own happiness within yourself first , find activites and learn about yourself, be independant, when you can stand on yout own two feet then you know you are strong enough to have a boyfriend. and its never a bad thing to have a woman that can take care of herself and be independant also.
dont have a boyfriend cause you need someone to take care of you, have a boyfriend cause its your choice to share your ups and downs with him.

I have a boyfriend and I'm so happy but never I thought before to have or to get a boyfriend to cheer up my lonely life.
I guess happiness comes naturally, never been planned at all.
