good question, although I doubt they would do alot of good in a public library. Bibles can be gotten in many different places, libraries would probably be the last place on the list to look for them that. Not to mention all the fine "evolutionists" out there at would probably spit on them and write terms of endurement on the front of them... that and put them in the myth section where so many people have already said they belong. But in my opinion the evolutionists, and atheists, and everyone else who does nothing but insult, can go to the back of the bus and TAKE A SEAT. I am most regrettably tired of everyone on here just lashing out against simple questions, or one better, using this as a place to make fun of the Christian faith. When the monkey believing humans in this world learn some respect, is the day after the Lord has already returned.
God bless, and merry Christmas

I'm not a Christian, but the Bible should be in lilbraries. Not only has that book shaped the course of many cultures, for good and for ill, but it has been a source of inspiration for many great thinkers.
Too, along with it, other religious texts should be provided as well, such as the Koran, the Tao Te Ching, Siddartha, The Book of Mormon, etc.
The Bible ought not to be elevated above other books, and should simply exist where it belongs according to the Dewey Decimal system.

I believe religion is the 200s and I believe it does include all religions.
Since public libraries are rapidly becoming free DVD rental shops, all who care about the written word should hope they continue to carry as great a diversity of books as possible.

Yes most definately.
What kind of ignorant society do you want to have? I say this even tho I'm not a believer.
I also think that books on other religions should be included.
Censorship is not what is meant by separation of church and state. The meaning is that religion does not CONTROL the state. Banning a religion on state property is just as obnoxious is having religion control everything.

What backwards state do you live in that they aren't? The bible, the Quran, the Mormon bible, etc. are all in my local public library.
