Ok so here is the deal. There is this guy that sits behind me in my math class. I like him,but I am not sure if he likes me or not. He talks to me all the time, plays with my hair, and called me the other day. I don't wanna ask him myself, so should I get a friend to ask him for me? What would you do. Anything will help.

Write him a note or an email saying that you're attracted to him and asking if he feels the same way. That way you can get the answer directly from him, without the possibility of your friend misinterpreting or confusing his answer, but you still don't have to actually face him in person.
I'd reccommend an email, because a note could be stolen by one of his friends and read aloud to the entire class, while unless he is a total jerk and forwards it to other people, an email will stay private. Or, even safer, get his instant messenger address and IM him about it.
And if it doesn't work out, try not to stress about it too much. Worst case scenario, the guy doesn't feel the same way, but is flattered by the fact that you like him (or possibly a little spooked because he doesn't know if you're gonna turn into a crazy stalker chick or something, but if he sees that you're cool about it he won't worry so much.) If you can get up the nerve to talk to him again afterwards, you could still end up good friends.

It sounds like he likes you. You should ask him out yourself. It shows him that you got some balls and guys like when a girl is brave enough to go after what she wants. Good Luck

i think he likes you if he's talking to you and playing with your hair. guys dont play with your hair unless they're gay or they like you.
dont get a friend to ask him for you... you'll just come off looking young and immature. just work up the nerve to do it yourself. i know its hard but trust me, you'll feel alot better if you do it yourself rather than have a friend ask him.

defintiely ask one of your friends to ask one of his friends about you.. did you get that? that's the safest way in my opinion... i think he likes you though
