He is an EX-boyfriend, which means their relationship is over and if she's not even in the area, it should be ok. However if you are still friends with her, I'd check with her first to see if she minds. You wouldn't want to lose her friendship because she found out later. You also might want to find out why they broke up. If he's abusive or didn't treat her well, don't waste your time on him.

I wouldnt do it, You should never mess with a friends ex, Thats they left overs, get your own. Let your feelings be ur feelings. Dont take a step, You will lose that friend. and men come a dime a dozen, so theres more out there.

talk to your friend. If she's moved away, and has no connection with him... maybe she'll give you her blessing, and all will be well.

well if you're still friends with her, don't touch him... but it all depends on how long they went out.. if shorter than a week, go for it!
