Twin Tower will be fine. However it is just outside the main shopping area and so you will have to travel everywhere by cab. This should be alright since you have your baby with you.
You are not that far from the underground train station at Hua Lamphong Railway Station. If you like, you can walk to Chinatown in that direction too.
Down the road, you can reach Mah Boonkrong Center and Siam Center. Or head across to Chidlom side. That is if you want to take a walk. Otherwise, the cab will be a convenient means to travel around.
