At 13 I was too busy playing sports to be thinking about sex. Yah, I thought boys were cute and had the occasional kiddie-style boyfriend (ie. maybe hand holding) but that was it. Your mind as well as your body have many years of maturing to do. Sex at an early age is not worth it. With pregnancy, and so many STD's out there... why not wait? I'm sure it seems like "everyone" is doing it, but who cares. Is "everyone" going to be there in the middle of the night when you're getting up with a baby? If "everyone" jumped off a bridge would you go to? As much as people like to glamorize sex, it's still something to be taken very seriously, and could cost you your life. I'm now 29, married with two kids and glad I didn't start having sex at an early age. Some of my friends who did, got STD's and cannot have any children now that they want them. All for what? Little horny teenage boys that could have cared less about them. Very sad. Anyways, I hope you "choose" not to. People may say "oh just protect yourself and do what you like" but just remember... condoms break. If you're not ready to deal with the repercussions of that happening...forget it.

Wow isn't it amazing how fast kids grow up these days... When i was 13 (1991) I was still climbing trees, playing with dolls lol I never even thought about sex until late late high school maybe 16 or 17 and still didn't do it then ..... Now I'm 29 Been married for almost 7 yrs with a beautiful Daughter and a loving husband. Trust me WAIT it's worth it.

Dear, Lord, NO. First off, I believe in total Abstinence, but that's my own preference and if others don't follow it, then so be it.
Having sex at such a young age sets you off on a fast track to a crappy life. I know a girl who lost her virginity during middle school and now she got pregnant in her sophmore year.
When you're 13 you're not even fully developed yet! And in some cases, you barely got off your training-bra. Childhood is all about good clean fun and learning important lessons. Try not to learn them the hard way.
Keep your stuff in your pants, no matter what anyone says.

I'm 13 myself and I would say not at all. We are way to young. We still have a whole life ahead of us for that stuff. Plus, one day you'll thank yourself for not doing it. This boy will more than likely tell all his friends and you will get labled a slut for your whole high school years to come. I would say dont do it. If you feel pressured tell this boy that you aren't ready for it and if he really likes you he will understand. I also think you should share that with someone special. I can assure you. I doubt he's the one.

Don't..... You have your whole life ahead of you and don't allow a sexual experience at the age of 13 ruin your first time when you are more ready for it with the right person. Besides, it doesn't help your reputation, unless you want to be known of as a slut, or a single, young mom....

I wouldnt because I feel that 13, is too young to know all the different info. about sex and I would want to wait untill I am ready. Good luck in all you do!

I had sex at age 11. My advice to you is wait!! You have plenty of time to do this. If he's pushing, he's not worth it. A good guy won't want to do anything you don't. If you're going too anyway, use protection!!! You are way to young to have STDs, and if you caught something, there goes your dating thru high school. No boy will want to date someone who has or had a STD. (sexually transmitted disease)

I would say no......no one can force you to make that decision at such a young age, if a guy or girl is telling you you have to choose sex he or she is wrong for you, and I would just walk away.....trust me I've been in that situation and a guy left me because I wouldn't give it up

think it over. are you sure u want to get that close to someone at 13. u are still very young, if this person really loves you, he can wait a few years to get intimate. i personally would not do it, but if you trust this person and know them well, it might be worth a try. be safe and dont do it if you think you will get hurt. what ever you do, go with your heart

There is not choice...so not have sex at 13 years old...If a guy loves you he will respect you....and your decision. Having sex will not make him love you, he is only after sex and that is it...Do not fall for the line..'If you love me, you will have sex with me." That is only to make you feel sorry for them and feel bad about yourself...this goes for oral sex also...If you have to ask what that is....do not do it.
Also you are not emotionally ready to have sex with someone and you have plenty of time for it as well...
So respect yourself...and wait...
