If you have a time set aside for studying (as you should), tell him not to call you during that time. Your education is important, and you can't put it on hold for him.

I know my Answer is late, but i have somthing to say about this, cause i am going through the same with me son's Girlfriend calling him all the time. And looking at it from a Parents point of view, and someone that knows a little about life...
If i was you hun i would tell your BF to STOP calling so much, You have to remember that he is just a BF and not a HUSBAND! And If it does not stop maybe you should get rid of him and FAST. Because if you stick with him, in time he could just turn out to be one of thoes controling kinds. And his Non-Stop calls will turn into having to know what your doing every minute of the day, and telling you what you can and can't do.. and no one need a man like that... So save yourself the heartache now, and the abuse and get out now while your still young, and can do so safely....

Tell him that at certain times it wud be very hard for u to talk to him because you need to study he might be offended but do it in a way that id doesnt bother or hurt his ego.If he cares for u he wud want the best for u and studying is apart of wanting the best tell him the times that wud be suitable to call

I don't understand, why can't you avoid his calls? You can not possibly be that weak. Turn the phone off when you are studying he will be there when you are done. Call him back. There is nothing worse than a weak willed female. God bless****

tell him your priority for the moment is your studies. just tell him no hard feelings but your phone will be off for a certain time then he can call you after wards.
if he is a very strict guy, well, do something about it. he cant control your relationship and you have to know whats important for your future and safety

Tell him you do not answer the phone while you are studying period.If he has a problem iwth it ,He will have to deal with it.Don't suffer bad grdes for not setting proper bounderies.

talk to him after you study. if you are busy and he calls, ignore the call and say you are busy.
