There are plenty of businesses who discreetly collect and/or donate toys for needy children and clubs like the Legion, etc. No shame in that. When you are in a better position, you can give back and pass it on. Be creative as well. If they aren't too young, write them letters telling them what they mean to you and why you are thankful to spend another year with them and why Christ came into this world to save their souls and take them to heaven. It means the world that you have each other you know and the best gifts, money can't buy including love, peace, joy, and respect. If possible, do some short-term jobs for a little extra money. Most of all, live right before them and teach them values and priorities in life. God bless!

You can always go to local churches for toys for your children. There is also Toys for Tots and the Salvation Army. Many of these places, if you told them your situation, would not stop until they helped you. Taking charity does not have to be scary or embarrassing. That's what Christmas is all about, being Christ like and giving to your fellow man. Don't be afraid to let others help you, it's a blessing. Good luck in your search.

Call the local United Way office; call the Salvation Army in your area, contact the local Methodist church in your neighborhood ---above all, don't be afraid to ask for a little help for the sake of your children, it won't be this way every year and you just need a little help right now. When you get on your feet you can adopt a family one year in the future and pay it back!
