It's just a very active and whacky imagination.

Most likely, it's her imagination. I do believe that there is a possibility that she is seeing spirits, but you should definitely monitor her closely. There is an outside possibility that she is having hallucinations, and she may need to see a doctor. That's VERY unlikely, though, as many children have imaginary friends at some point. On the other hand, maybe she really is visiting with her great-grandmother. Try asking your granddaughter questions about your mom that you don't think she could get the answers to from anyone else, then see what she says.

If the baby is new and Mom is a first time mom, and she is breast feeding, then I'll tell you right now she is probably exhausted. And that might be why she doesn't cook or clean anymore. That is awesome that your son helps out with all the cooking and cleaning. Breast feeding is very tiring and it takes a lot out of you and each situation is unique. She may not feel comfortable yet with breastfeeding and might feel like she needs privacy when feeding. Which might explain why she doesn't want you there for very long. Most new babies eat every two hours, and for mom, waking up all night long every two hours is very tiring. Breast feeding is also painful at first and is something that both mom and baby have to learn. just give her some time, it'll get better. It took baby and I three months to master breast feeding. We had every problem you could imagine.

I would believe her.
I had an experience with my great aunt about a year after she passed. She told me to call my grandma and tell her not to worry or cry about her any more. She said the only reason she came to me is because none of the other grandchildren would believe it or be open to the idea.
I know it sounds crazy, and some people may not believe it, but it happened.
Just make sure the activity doesn't interfere with her life. Listen to her now though, maybe your mom is trying to get a message to you because your little girl is open to it, like i was.
even if it's not legitimate, your little girl has a beautiful mind to call it "angel tag".
Best wishes.

It could happen, my youngest daughter was 7 when her 15 year sister passed away in 1999. For about a year afterward, Maggie would say she could hear her sister talking to her at night. It was freaking her out. I told her that it was nothing to be afraid of, her sister had loved her very much and probably missed her, but if it was too scary, she should just tell her sister that it was frightening her. She did and the instances stopped. Viola still visits me and her dad, but leaves her sister alone. Maybe when Maggie is older, she'll be ready to be "visited". I hope so.

I think she really sees her great grandmother. It's not just a guess because I can actually see ghosts as well. I come into contact with them a lot and I can communicate with them. My house is built in a historical area so there's a lot of"paranormal activity," but most of them are just looking for a friend or family to keep them company. At an age like that, it's a lot easier to see apparitions that others cannot, so definetely take her seriously.

It's definitely not her imagination! Most children who are special to someone who has passed will always have contact with that person. Your granddaughter is truly special and loved very much. Children don't nearly make up things that they haven't really experienced in life. Consider it a blessing!!

I believe she is around. Children do not block things like this because they are not old enough to not believe. When you start not believing it can not happen as easy. There are instances where small children have not even known their grandparents and they describe them, can tell you a nickname or something that only the grandparent would know, not the child. Listen to what she says.

My daughter did the same thing when she was younger. She said her Grandmother came into her room and told her goodnight every night. The unfortunate part is, it stopped at about age 10. She is 15 now, and can still tell you every detail about it.

I don't doubt that it's real. As a Pagan, I believe that our relatives are able to interact when they wish.
Some might say it's demons and such, but these tend to be people living in fear of the supernatural.
My daughter has friends that others can't see, and I don't see it a problem at all.

Children often experience spiritual matters before they learn from grownups that these things are impossible. I believe that when a person dies they can remain in spirit with their family or famliar surroundings, and children can perceive this before they are programmed that these things don't happen. Animals and sensitive people of any age can perceive these things as well.
