hide fold and disable Auto run?

Question

1. when I hook up USB harddrive, computer is always auto play , can I disable it like disable CD-ROM/DVD ROM by using regedit? where , thank.

2. how can I hide the fold and some items on "all programs" list.

1. go to mycomputer folder.........then right click on CDROM folder....then properties..........then autoplay....thn you can make changes over there.

2. right click on the folder you want to hide.....then go to properties......then selected hidden........then ok.......good to go....
