I just woke up from a dream of a kind I have from time to time. These dreams have settings that seem deeply familiar, more so than any home I've ever had. They're intensely happy, creative dreams, with a sense of being at home after a long and hard time of travel. (This one was about a swimming pool that it seemed I had designed and built.) The dream consciousness seems so authentic, as if the life in those dreams is my real life and where I belong. I wake up and feel like I've just been expelled...not from paradise, but from my real home and real consciousness. What I experience in daily existence seems like a shadow life. Any spiritual or religious explanation for such experiences?

Read some of Sylvia Browne's books. Research the beliefs of the gnostic church.

I had a dream the other night I was driving a convertible and an explosion happened right in front of me... it seemed so real... but nonetheless I believe that dreams are a product of our mind, I don't really attach spirituality to it much at all. Our minds our powerful and dreams are necessary when we're sleeping to help keep our mind alert and working properly when we're awake.

whoa!!!! this is really deep stuff you are talking about....that's exactly how it is....haven't you heard the saying " life is but a dream"? Many have said that in the "dream world" is where we make all our decisions and then we act them out in the physical plane. Were all just actors in a stage acting out a play....

It is my belief that in one lifetime we can live many lives. Since time is an illusion these lives run parallel to each other, we get glimpses of the other lives sometimes when we are asleep
