If you have cancer in your lymph nodes the chances of survival are not very good. BUT, if it has been diagnosed early enough treatment has worked for some people.

It sounds bad, but don't give up. My mother lived with breast cancer for 20 years, and it took 7 years to kill her after it spread to a lung. She didn't really suffer much until the last 1/2 year when she was on chemo. They are always coming up with new drugs.

I think it would depend on how long a person has had it. It doesn't sound good when it spreads to the lymph nodes. Then it can spread throughout your body.
