You roll it like Sushi rolls, leave the paper on and as you roll you peel it back as you roll, that keeps the cake part in one piece and won't break or crumble on ya, oki doki? You are going to sprinkle some chopped nuts on there before you roll aren't you?

You use the wax paper to roll it but you do not roll the wax paper into the pumpkin roll. The wax paper would taste gross. The wax paper is just used as a brace and to hold it together while cooling.

Use it to roll it up. But don't roll it up in it. My mom uses a clean kitchen towel to help her roll it. She feels it's stronger and keeps it together better.
