I have a hard time feeling attractive since I gained 50 lbs. When guys flirt do you think they really mean it?

of course they mean it, why else would they flirt?
"fat" also depends on the eye of the beholder..

Very good question. You probably feel unattractive so you take attention from men in a negative sense and find it hard to believe that a man could be seriously attracted to you because you are finding it hard to be attracted to yourself. Don't project the way you feel about the pounds onto a prospective suitor. Find a way to see the beauty in yourself regardless of the weight and if you can't do this you need to begin an exercise regimen to lose it because you will always think that men have an ulterior motive when approaching you when they probably sincerely think you are beautiful.

Honey, any guy who'd cast you aside or not look at you at all becuase you have gained 50 pounds isn't worthy. Now if you're saying you've gained 100 pounds and you're still piling it on...
I call 50 pounds over hwp "pleasantly curvy." Just be sure you don't put any more on. My 1st wife was probably 25 pounds over, and she was model gorgeous. My 2nd wife was roughly double her hwp weight when I married her, I divorced her 8 years later, and now she's probably 100 lbs OVER /double her body weight. That is, if 300 is double her hwp weight, she's 400 EASY. Being as wide as you are tall (or close) is a huge turn/off.
If you are feeling subconscious, be ready to "compensate" the guy. Be ready to be "extra sexy" in other ways, like the clothes you wear when you're with him. If he likes suggestive/slutty talk, if he likes "adult videos", etc.

On the average I dont think most guys find obese woman attractive, however I have been with some strikingly beautiful larger voluptuos women, and I gotta say a little cushion for the pushin is kind of nice. The way a woman carries herself is sometimes a turn on in itself, if I have the choice between a stick lady who thinks she's kind of hot and a heavy woman who "KNOWS" she's hot Im gonna go for the fat bottomed girl every time. OK, I understand EXACTLY how you're feeling and want to tell you this. It is how you carry yourself. If you hold your head up, walk with pride, dress according to your size and sexy (not slutty), know how to talk to a man, and are educated. Men like confident women. They also like a bit of a challenge. Don't be afraid to be yourself. Have fun. You are who you are and if they don't appreciate those curves... well then F them! A majority of male friends I have appreciate curvier women because they like the aspect of sex better. More to hold on to, not feeling like they will break you, you're soft... think about the good things you can offer a man.

every guy likes there own thing. I have friends that love chubby girls, but some don't. Personally, i would not date anyone over 200 pounds. I am just not comfortable making out with them. I'm not trying to be mean.

Yes, there are chubby chasers! Believe it because its totally true. I have this friend who looks like a young Alec Baldwin and his fiance' is 120lbs overweight and he told me she could put on a few more pounds. They make love constantly!
He told me a long time ago he was a little embarassed because his friends made fun of him for liking heavy women. He got over it and made new friends who accept him for who he is.
