I come from a small family (1 older sister) but I ended up a professional who is financially independent and I am happy with my friends. It seems as though people from bigger families seem to label the kids; for example, the youngest is spoiled and the middle child is usually forgotten and the oldest is the most responsible, etc.

my immediate family consists of my 2 sisters and there families,my husband any our daughter, for a total of 13 people..and i feel like we all have a great life.we've all been in stable marriages for 26,16 and 11 years, our children are all healthy, happy,in school or working,we are all home owners with good jobs and such..from that aspect we all have great lives and before marriage it was my sisters and our mom and we still were OK,things were more difficult but we all came out great..we're all close,my one sister moved back here from Florida fat er our mom died because she wanted to be closer to us..i don't think family size matters
