Girlfriend you're getting MARRIED!!! Marriage is Sacred! Of course you aren't too old to have a church wedding. Marriage is sacred and blessed not only is it OK I personally think it SHOULD be second marriage or not it is a celebration and I think God wants to be included. Don't let Any one tell you not to. Do this thing YOUR way (and his too of course) If the priest has no objections you know God doesn't.

I think it's perfectly acceptable to have a church wedding. If you both are of the same faith, and belong to the same parish, it only seems natural that you would want to get married there. I'm not sure there is such a thing as "too old" to have a church wedding. Afterall, marriage is not about age, but about your commitment to eachother and to God. I've actually been to a church wedding in which both the bride and groom were over 60, both married before (to eachother), divorced, remarried, then both nwe spouses passed away. After years apart, they found their way back to eachother, saw it as an act of God, and wanted to get married in a church. I'd say if it's what you both want, go for it. Good luck!

I think you are perfectly entitled to a church wedding, an elaborate white one if that's what you want. I don't see why age, any age, should be an impediment to this special celebration of faith and union.
My mother's cousin married at a much later age than 44 and had a lovely church wedding, white gown, attendants, the whole nine yards. I thought it was marvelous.

You're never too old for marriage in a church. Marriage is a holy thing or at least I think it is, and I think you should be married in your church, with all the ones you love near you. The choice is up to you ultimately, but i'd suggest the church wedding.

I just got married in a church at age 38. If it's what you want, you should do it. Nothing beats the ceremony of a catholic mass. the ceremnony in the church was the best part of my wedding. Go for it.

If you belong to a parish and the church is important in your life. Then Yes! If you don't normally go to church and it isn't important in your life then no. Age has no place in love or religion . Congratulations and Good Luck!

There is no age limit for a church wedding. You are pledging your love for each other and making vows in front of God and your family to be wed. I would not make it a big glitzy white wedding. Dress accordingly for your age and I am sure you will make a beautiful bride! At bridal stores, they have consultants who can assist you in picking an appropriate outfit. Best of luck and congratulations!!!

If it's important for both of you to have the tradition of a church wedding, then by all means go for it. If it's his first marriage, then it may be important for him...and NO you aren't too old for it! If your priest doesn't see a problem with it, then I doubt anyone else should.
