The two of you go out. Then play the "What I don't like about you game" It's great. Maybe the flirting thing will get a little braver and then poof, your see what he thinks about you. Maybe he'd be brave enough to ask you out.

Take it easy, don't get desperate. See if he likes you first. You sound like you really want him both physically and emotionally. See if he likes you, because you could just easily get rejected. Then if he does like you, kiss him, do whatever, with protection!
