Hello :)....to make this short and simple, I want to buy a girl something that doesn't come on too strong, but also something that a normal guy friend wouldn't buy her. She is 16 years old, but I cannot stress this enough: she's not into what a lot of girls her age seem to be (the whole mini skirt, pink purse, lip gloss, abercrombie, aeropostal.....she's not into any of that).
She's a very down to earth person with great fashion -- she's very original/unique. I guess Carrie from Sex & the City is a good person to compare her to.
I can usually spot something that she'd like, but I don't know where to start LOOKING haha....can anyone help me out please? Thanks!

you can never go wrong with a CD of her favorite music... or maybe a gift certificate to her favorite store? flowers would be really cool... or maybe a movie night together?

Go to urbanoutfitters.com they have a lot of really cool/crazy stuff that is not too trendy but this girl might like. get her some funky jewelry from there, girls love jewelry and it's not going to cost you a fortune so at the same time it doesn't come on too strong.
