Peanut oil is one of the best oils to use in your deep fryer. It has a higher smoke point than vegetable oil. You can also reuse peanut oil--after it has cooled you can strain it and reuse it. You can use it in any of your frying recipes.

you can use any oil in a deep fryer, the oil simply holds the higher heat and cooks faster than boiling in water. each oil will have a different boiling point and last different lentghs of time depending on how high you heat it.
