You should try calling him and talking to him first. Dont subject your child to something you dont know what could happen. Maybe he would be a better grandpa then he was a dad

What I would do is first call him and tell him you would like to meet with him. Then do not bring the baby with you go see him by yourself a few times make sure you get along. You know talk get to know each other again. Next if you haven't already brought up the subject of your baby and i hope it's mommy then do so. (Do not bring this subject up on the first meeting!) After you tell him about the child what was his reaction? Happy, mad, disturbed, emotional? If it is happy of course I am sure he will love to see his grandchild. If it is mad then ask him what he is mad about( if he has not already expressed it) if it isn't about the baby then yes if about the baby then no. And the other two I am sure you can talk out and he would eventually be able to see the new member of the family. Best wishes

Shouldn't you test the waters first and mend the relationship between you and your dad before you bring your daughter into it... he may not want to even see you more less you daughter and to subject her to that isn't fair... meet with him or talk to him a few times to feel out the situation... then proceed... good luck and I hope this helps!!!!

I didn't ever see my dad when I had the chance..He never came around and I did ask him to visit but I should of gone and carried the kids before he died.. I will never forgive myself although it was his choice..

it is never too late for anything. I don't know the situation but if he wasn't a dad let him be a grandpa. If you see that he does not want to be a grandpa then I would not let him see her.

why? If nobody cared in 10 years, why do you think they would care now?
