I know some one who wants to fly back to Africa. He is here (USA) on an expired visa. His passport is also expired. How is he to get an airline ticket without proper and current ID. I do not know if the embassy can help.

I know of a guy who was an illegal from Canada. Every once in a while, he flew back home by having his friends turn him in.

Perhaps he could renew his visa, and then go home for a while..?

you dont need a current ID, nor a state-issued ID to fly in a airplane. He may need a African passport (which he can get at any African consulate here in the US) to prove his citizenship there.

ICE will get them there on a one way ticket. It would be great if many more would take advantage of that one way ticket out.
