story is the lady and the man married each other despite the man family was against it . the lady is actually an orphan and she is not well educated and poor too and the man comes from a powerful and rich family. (they live in the man's family mansion)
story short. the man's family tries very very hard to separate the both of them including purposely sending the husband overseas for business in like 5 days after the marriage ..
the family also makes fake accusation that the wife was having an affair which was not true.. so they end up in a terrible divorce.. (the wife did not receive any alimony etc)
the only person who will help her is his elder brother , eg sending her to hospital etc calling her up to see hows shes doing almost everyday .. he wants to provide the $$ or temporary housing or hotel but she does not want it but continues to make her own living.. yes the lady is very beautiful and good hearted person too...
both the lady and her brother in law are very close..

does the brother in law like her? or just being sincere in helping? the brother in law is known for his good heart too..
say if the brother in law were to propose to her and take care of her as a wife would that be stab in the back..

He obviously does, is probably a fair minded person, his action not necessarily indicates sexual interest in the woman.
If this is a story, what do you want to get from the answers? Are you stuck for better ideas to go further with the story?

Yes it would be wrong, she was already married to the brother. And why would she want to be back into a family that did not treat her well in the first place. Sounds to me as if the rumors were very true and she was having an affair with the brother in law. God bless****
