As it seems Satan is pulling tricks on us! On almost every question I ask, I get answers telling me that research, science, dinosaur bones, evolution, etc, etc are ALL tricks of Satan to make sure we will end up in Hell, because Satan's tricks will stop us from believing in God.
Bad Satan! Bad, bad Satan!
But eh, I was wondering. Why would an all-powerful God allow all this? Why would a loving God allow another Higher Power to perform magic tricks with our minds, and if we are fooled enough we will end up in Hell?
I'm not searching to have faith in this religion, I'm simply trying to figure out the logic behind it. Anybody willing to explain the logic in all this to me?

In reality, it isn't Satan, but God who pulls the wool over our eyes.
The demiurge created everything, and we are caught like a fly in amber, cut off from our Godside, and mired in this hideous prison of reality, forced to roll again and again though incarnation after incarnation, much to the amusement of the Demiurge.
Satan, in rebeliing against god, is trying to help us to acheive our potential. Much like the founding fathers, it's a just rebellion, only called evil by the forces of the Demiurge.

God banished Lucifer to the "hell" as he had challenged God's right to be and his own right to be a God.
This is just a simple battle between who can get more recruits for the final fight. They both use their tricks and the both use their powers. Think of it this way, The King of a country just banished his highest General for contesting his right to rule. Now that general is lurking behind the scenes doing his best to convert the countrymen and denounce the name of the King.
Satan means adversary. Devil is just a manifested form for the word Evil.
Man makes the final choice and it is man who decides who wins the battle.
The will of man to be men and remain on earth would be considered Lucifer's men. The rest would be the army of heaven.

When God created us, He stepped back in order to give us free will. We aren't His puppets; we have the ability to make choices, to choose the right thing or the wrong - or something in between.
Because God gave us free will, Satan/evil is loose and free (for now). Sometimes we choose the wrong thing, and that separates us from God who is only Good. Like a loving father, God forgives us through His Son and welcomes us back.

God gives each of a choice in ALL THINGS. It's up to us which choice we make; If we choose to follow God's plan of salvation, the devil can't even come close to perform "magic tricks with our minds".Personally, I think you are a very wise person to ask such a question. Keep up the pursuit of Gods love, and I guarantee, you will live a very happy life here on earth.
Have a very Merry Christmas, and, " may the happiest day's of your past, be the saddest day's of your future!!"

Why does a loving father allow his daughter's bad boyfriend to lure her into sex?
He doesn't. The daughter simply defies God.
God gave free will to men and women. If he forced us to not be decieved, he wouldn't love us. Much like a father watches his baby son fall trying to walk.
Sorrows will come but if you stick to God they will make you grow.

God doesn't allow Satan to lure us to hell, we allow Satan to lure us to hell. God has made every provision for our victory over sin and the devil. We simply choose not to avail ourselves of it.

The truth is, God gave man everything he needed for eternal happiness, but he sold his birthright to Satan and has been under his dominion ever since. I know this for a fact because I was a slave of Satan for 18 years, who played on my passion and ignorance to destroy me and lead me down a path that leads to nowhere but misery and hell. But God spoke to my heart one day and I became born again, and my life has been on a different path ever since. I have been where you are - but you have not seen what I have seen. God is Good, but unless you believe the Gospel, you will never know this for yourself.

Because we rebel against God when He reveals His Truth to us. If we don't love God, God allows Satan to tempt us or harass us, etc.
So rejecting Gods Truth, it opens a door to satan. It is written to therefor submit to God, resist satan and satan flees.

You have a free will, you can chose to believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins or you can reject what He did for your. John 3: 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
