well it kinda depends on how long you two have been going out for. start out by asking him what he wants. my first idea would be like a wrist-watch, and dont forget a nice card telling him how much you love him.

Depends on your budget. I bought my boyfriend a long leather coat on sale. Last year before he was my boyfriend I got him a gift certificate to Best Buy. I just listened throughout the last few months to what he says he liked and went for it. He didn't tell me what to get him or what he liked. I just listened to his conversation with his mother and his comments about liking my long wool coat and that he would like one like mine, only leather.
Ask his family for hints. Merry Christmas.
