first of all feeling sad is a normal feeling that we all experince, however if that happend for prolonged periods then you are depressed.

as soon as you wake up, your mind scans your current life situation to see if its favourable or not, if you have any major problem or many small problems most likely you will wake up feeling bad.

my advice is:

1) read as much as you can about self help.
2) if you have major problems in life do your best to solve them
3) if you cant solve them then pray to god and he will help you.

i strongly recommend this website, mainly it foucuses about how to know why are you feeling bad, and then fix the problem.

I think you should pray. Just be sincere and tell God you love him and that u want His help. Tell Him you want to stop feeling sad all the time. Ask Him to send some happiness your way. Thank Him for everything He's done for you so far. Then expect to start feeling better. Make sure you pray some more to thank God for your happiness.

You sound to be suffering from depression. Have you talked to a counsellor or anything? If you don't have any self-confidence you should ask yourself why and try and figure it out.

Good luck and Merry Christmas!

what do you feel sad about? if you feel incomplete you are probably looking for the wrong thing..or maybe you aren't looking at it the right way..you shouldn't feel sad it waists to much time and we don't always have much of that find your joy and stay with it if its friends, music, whatever as long as it doesn't brake the law

I'm wondering if there is a possibility you have a chemical imbalance in your system. Sometimes that can make you feel down. Also, do you exercise? I know that exercising can raise your endorphin level and that will make you feel better too. Good luck!

hmmm me too....you really just gotta repeat to yourself i can do this i'm better than this and even though you don't believe it at the time, it will help. try hard to find things that make you happy like dancing crazy or drawing pictures to show how you feel, i like writing poems. TALK to people you trust, some will help you.

Sounds like to me you are depressed. I used to feel that way a lot, but have changed. I went to my doctor and they prescribed me anti depressants. Maybe that and a good friend to chat with.

I had the same problem. Don't worry there are a ton of us out there. Just head on over to your doctor and he can put you on some medication. : )

Why? do you know why? did something happen to you? you may need to go to a Dr to either get on something for a while, or talk to someone.
