I was just in the same position. You should find some way to show him that you like him as more than a friend without actually telling him. If he likes you the same way, then he'll ask you out. It worked for me.

Definitely stay with Ur best friend that`s a boy, Because by the time u know it, he will be ur boyfriend, Thiers a reason why u two are best friends it happend to me, She was my best friend and i lost a friend because of jeliousie and now im married to her and love her with all my heart.
