I think this is merely a dream. I had a friend once (who was a licensed pilot) get a Benson autogyro glider kit and build it. It was to be towed behind a car running down the runway. He could NOT build the rotor blades so that they would lift the little gyro. He finally wrecked it and broke the big rotor blades, so he gave up as a bad job. The problem would also exist on this, plus you can't get rotor-tip jet engines that would run for more than 5 minutes or so, and this is entirely inadequate. Sorry to throw a wet blanket on this idea. Check out powered paragliders, they are more practical.

After looking at the site and reading about it(as much as they would tell about) I have come to the conclusion that if I had a million dollars to spend and nothing else to do, I wouldn't touch that. If someone had one flying, I would look at it, but I don't want to be the first in any thing of that nature. I could be the first one to fly one, or the first one killed trying.
