I want my hair touching my bra strap by March .... April ... or May if possible. Rignt now my hair is about the length of my Avatars -- maybe longer.
Do you think it will take another year ????? :O
Any advice will be appreciated.
Note: I have medium, course and fine hair. I only want my hair longer because I like wearing it curly ... not straight. lol, I don't like spending time using flat irons and curling irons.

Braids amake my hair fall out -- my hair is too darn soft for them ... but l love they way they look on other people. Plus, they usually don't stay in past a week. My hair comes apart .....

mane and tail works great to keep growing hair healthy but does not make it grow faster. every ones hair grows at different speeds so its hard to tell u how long it will take to grow it out. also if u take prenatal vitamins it will make ur hair grow faster and ticker. also ur nails will grow ticker and stronger. don't worry its no harm to take prenatal vitamins if ur not pregnant, they are still really good for u and give u better hair skin n nails.

I'd say if you want your hair to grow faster than start taking some "hair growth" vitamins. I'm sure you could find them at GNC or some other vitamin store or I'm sure Wal Mart has them. Also, use a shampoo and conditioner that helps prevent split ends. I know it sounds weird but it also helps to keep your hair trimmed if it is prone to split ends... take a half inch or an inch off every month depending on how fast it grows.
Even if other people tell you that it won't work because they've tried it or know something who has tried it. Everyone is different. Doing something is better than doing nothing, ya know?

I've used it. If you're looking for a shampoo and conditioner to make it grow faster, that isn't going to work. But it is a pretty decent shampoo and conditioner. I've used it myself, and it didn't seem bad for my hair.
Some ways to get your hair to grow are to make sure you keep the ends trimmed and free of breakage or splits. Also, brushing it and massaging the scalp is supposed to stimulate growth as well.
Any shampoo that is good for your hair and won't dry it out or cause it to start splitting would be good to use as far as trying to keep it healthy.

I used Mane and Tail but it didn't make my hair grow any faster. Try getting a trim every month and see if that stimulates your hair to grow faster. Some people say the more you cut your hair, the more it grows as a natural response to cutting.

no. that won't work. the only thing you can do is wait. your hair grows at it own pace. i could actually tell you how long it "normally" takes for hair to grow on your scalp, but i dont have my books with me. (i took several anatomy classes in college) maybe do a google search, and you can kinda guesstimate how long it should take.

do alot of braiding using hair extensions and also cornrows it will help your hair grow and also become strong.
