"viente" alone means 20. but if your refering to a day on the calendar you would say "el viente". for example the 20th of december would be: "el viente de dicembre"

20 = veinte

20th = vigésimo

1/20 = un veinteavo

"Twentieth" is "vigésimo" -- "veinte" is just "twenty."
