I thought about taking hydroxycut or farenheit but I really don't know. What about the shakes I see people drinking those but don't know how well they work?

If you have asked this question before I have no doubt that you have gotten a lot of feedback similar to "if you cannot lose fat without the need of supplements then you are doing something wrong".

OK, so, to answer the question about shakes, the shakes are mostly protein shakes or weight gainer or a combination of the two. There are meal replacement shakes too. I don't know of any shake that reduces body fat while retaining muscle. Shakes are for feeding the muscles and for energy.

Before you read on, you really should consult a doctor before you start using stimulants or any kind of supplement. I don't recommend you use stimulants if you have heart condition or circulatory problems.

Now, personally, I wouldn't buy Hydroxycut or any of those supplements. But then again I've been around too many bodybuilders to give you a recommendation on Yahoo! Answers.

Just eat right, and train hard. That formula never fails. You can drink a lot of green tea too. That stuff is good.

A solid training regiment is one thing to look into. Work in supersets and a lot of intense interval cardio.

I hope that helps a little...

If you're trying to build muscle mass you need to eat (a lot) and lift heavy with fewer reps. If you're trying lose weight, then you need to lift lighter weight with more reps and add cardio. You can't build muscle and try to lose weight at the same time. They cancel each other out. If you build muscle and then diet drastically you will lose muscle mass that you worked so hard to get. It has to be done moderately...count your calories take in as much protein as you can.... usally 1 to 1 1/2 grams of protien for each pound of body weight.

The two diet pills you listed only aide with weight loss when you are working out and eating a low calorie diet. They really just give the extra energy to work out more and harder.
Try L Caritine it is an amino acid that promotes fat loss and promotes lean muscle.
