What is tehre to do in Singapore and Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) does anyone know of any nice things to see? or place to go to and like where are good places to shop etc....

singapore is a small island that can be covered in 2-3 days max. singapore is a shopping paradise with many malls in Orchard Road, the new mega-mall Vivo City etc. it is also a food paradise with all kinds of different cuisines available at very reasonable prices.
do check out tourist spots like sentosa, night safari, birdpark, merlion park...
there is also a vibrant nightlife. clubs include Ministry of Sound, Zouk, Tannery etc...

When in Malaysia, go to these two places. Genting Highlands and Sunway Lagoon.
Genting Highland is famous for its Casinos and Amusement Parks, both indoor and outdoor. It is an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur. Sunway Lagoon and Sunway Pyramid are 20 mins drive from KL.
Two spots in KL which are full of night life are Bangsar and Hartamas/Mont Kiara area.
China Town is also known as Petaling Street is famous for cheap watches, t-shirts, and general personal items. Indian Market is known as Masjid India and is famous for high-class fabrics. The majestic and mesmerising KL Twin Towers at KLCC is a must-see.

i live in malaysia so i should know. if you're rich then, go to klcc. the things there are overpriced. but if you're looking for some bargains go to petaling street. you can go to the national science centre (pusat sains negara in malay). if you're hoping to catch a movie, then go to cineleisure in damansara. the cineplex there is always empty because it's new. it's also part shopping mall.
shopping malls: one utama, the curve, ikano power centre, mid valley megamall. you have to be careful though, the taxis here might cheat you. find a driver who looks trustworthy. don't worry about the airport though, you have to buy a ticket or something to use the taxi. the airport will calculate the journey or something like that. if you need a taxi to go anywhere, ask them first the price to go to that location. let's say you're going to damansara from kuala lumpur and the taxi driver says it's 75 ringgit, then don't take it. that's highly overpriced. if you're rich, then get a limo or smething like that. I've been to Singapore but not Malaysia.
In Singapore, there is beautiful Senose Island, Little India, China Town, restaurants on the Singapore River, and the Zoo/Night Safari, which is very famous. There is also lots of places to shop.

i have been to both - i have to say they are quite different
Singapore is a good place for living & working but not for travelling
Malaysia is more interesting, i like Genting the most - go there & have fun~
