That depends... is air important? It is if you aren't getting any. And it seems that the longer you go without it, the more important it becomes.

All this is, of course, perception. There are times when sex is important and when it only seems that way. As a teenager, it SEEMS important. The first time IS important, and should be treated that way. Its not a cure-all for bad relationships though, use it to enhance one, not to keep one together. If you are thinking that you have to introduce sex to keep your partner, then they are going to leave and get it elsewhere whether you do or not. If you can say no and know that they won't leave, then its probably a good time to make sex important.

Yes.
There are certainly more important things. But sex is very high on the priority list. In fact, it's recently been shown that people who have sexual intercourse on a regular basis (weekly) are healthier, and live longer than those who don't.
Another interesting recent finding was that men's saliva contains an enzyme VITAL to the health of females. Women's saliva contains an enzyme VITAL to the health of males.
Meaning that prolonged French kissing is vitally important to both sexes; not only is it fun and very tasty, it's important to your physical AND emotional health to swap spit on a regular basis.

Much too much is made of it in today's world. It is important, and sex drives run deep in all humans, so it is very important. But that is why it is not a toy. To use sex "to say goodbye" or to show gratitude is misuse. It is a part of relationship. To use it like you would a toy can actually ruin it in relationship.

Well.. it is important when you're still under 23.. becomes less important compared to a job and commitment after you reach 25.. sounds exciting but tiring when you're 35.. and is the last thing that goes through your mind just before you get alzheimer...

Sex is important in life if you make it important. Sex is not everything, but it is something that should be expierenced with a person you love, and a major milestone in your life (losing your virginity).

I really think it is important.

Conferring with my boyfriend on this; he says "It's more of a privilege."

I think it IS very important to a relationship. As for life in general, I agree with my boyfriend; also, it's a great stress reliever!

Yes it is...It is important for a whole lot of reasons. Procreation for one thing. But if you really want to get basic...for an adult person who is responsible, knows what they want and has the right partner....(SPEECHLESS)

Let me speak again....mountaintop experiences are great...but orgasmic experiences are unmatched!

Hell yeah, sex is very important, it's a way to release tension, say you're sorry or goodbye, or to show another's gratitude and love through sex.
