Don't get overly anxious. I would see how the weather is later next week. I had to travel to the area for about 4 years and have relatives up in the Seattle area. Unfortunately for the Seattle area as good as we think the weathermen are, in the Seattle area, the weather can change in less than 8 hours. Their weather comes out of Alaska and at this time of year it's been cold and wet for them. And it has been storm after storm. Look at the weather pattern next week when it is closer to your departure date. I just read the most recent and they are getting power back online in Washington and more significantly the Seattle area. So it appears things are returning to normal. The problem was the winds that came with the storm.

Below is the 10 day forecast through Xmas.

some components of WA have been hit surprisingly perplexing by our windstorm. The media, as quickly as returned, is blowing the entire concern out of proportion. suited now that's a crisp cool nighttime, no rain, no wind. We had an surprisingly heat summer season, and wintry climate hasn't been overly variety to us so a ways, yet only verify the components channel for the week you would be right here. The wind typhoon is long previous. The aftermath in some components, downed timber, property injury could be reasonable to very great. yet Seattle continues to be status and that's corporation as common. we don't have a gas shortage suited now. If that variations interior of right here couple of days...i'm going to place up it right here.
