Absolutely not. It is a virus and is spread through hand contact, and coming in contact with body fluids of someone who has it. Like using the same phone that they may have sneezed on.

No.
The flu occurs a lot in the winter for different reasons. So it was first thought that cold air had something to do with it.
But actually what gives us the flu more easily in the winter is that people are constantly indoors with the windows shut. If people didn't spend their time home as much, they wouldn't be stuck with each other catching things. If the windows could be opened then there would be more airflow and the germs could leave the house easier.

No. Bacteria and viruses in the cold air cause a person to get the flu.

Yes. The cold air makes you uncomfortable, so you go inside where all those other people are also trying to stay in out of the cold, and one or more of them spreads the influenza virus to others in the room (they need not be in the room simultaneously) via respiratory secretions. Not exactly proximate cause, but if it weren't winter, people would be outside more, and the virus would have less opportunity to spread.

cold air increases your susceptibility to infection because your body is busy trying to maintain your temperature. Your body has certain mechanisms to fight the cold, such as shivering, vasoconstriction of blood vessels near the skin (that's why your fingers get so cold while your chest feels fine), goosebumps,
Also, you get a runny nose, which is part of the way your body keeps things out.
Another point is that alcohol consumption makes you feel warm in your body, but it impairs your bodies reaction to cold, so even if you feel warm while your drunk and outside in the cold, you could get hypothermia and get very sick or even die.
Plus, cold air is not good for your skin. It will dry out and crack, especially on your lips and hands.
So wear a jacket, gloves, hat, scarf, and so on whenever its cold outside, and you just might make it through the winter alive.
