Wow.

I'm 5'4", and I can jump about three and a half to four feet off of the ground. Try building the muscles in your thighs; running helps and try some squat thrusts too.

Answer the query for your self. You had been prime leaping for four years...Is three'nine" a rather well leap for any one of your enjoy stage? Answer that query as though any one else have been asking that query approximately a pal of yours. Then- Ask your train in the event you might do one complete consultation simply doing lengthy leap. You have built well thighs by means of prime leaping, nevertheless, if you're a rather well sprinter, you'll be able to mix the vigor of your thighs plus the velocity of your spring, and who is aware of...You could rather shock your self and others much more. I'd say provide the lengthy leap a rather well move, and notice which one you suppose you are pleasant suited to. Good success!

Try some sports specific exercises known as plyometrics. I suggest looking this up on the web to get some ideas about what you could do to improve your vertical jump.

Also, try some powerlifting moves such as squats, deadlifts and leg presses. These will help strengthen your leg muscles as well.

Jumping rope is a great exercise,
you should also do a lot of stretching, squats, and maybe even lifting weights with your legs.

Also, practice makes perfect. Do incremental training. Start jumping to 6 feet up, then 6.5, 7, 7.5…and so on.
Jumping high takes a lot of skill too, not just muscle and flexibility. You have to be able to time it properly and maximize your release strength...

Also, maybe consider buying lighter shoes...
