You give your puppy various chew toys and whenever it starts to bite you or a guest, you rattle a news paper or magazine and this loud rattling noise will startle the puppy.
Then immediately talk kindly as you hand it a chew toy.
Repeat over and over again consistently and it will stop biting you and your guests.
Just don't get emotional with the puppy, they don't understand human emotional frustration or anger as it confuses them. They do understand conditioning.

My friend has 3 extremely well behaved dogs. She provided lots of chew toys, but it's still natural for them to want to bite. When they were pups, she treated them like the mother dog would.
So, she would bite them back, briefly and not hard, but the way a mother dog would.
She would also snap back at them, as in biting her teeth together loudly with a little growl, right in their face. Doing that showed them that she is the alpha and they must defer to her superiority.
She would also hold their mouth in her hand right after they tried to bite (thumb on top of mouth, other fingers under the chin) and say "no bite!"
You absolutely have to show him that you are the boss and that biting won't be tolerated, and you have to nip it in the bud, before he gets larger, older, and more aggressive. You can do it, just be consistent and do not let him get away with biting. Don't act scared....be the boss.

What i found helped was if he bites you or someone else, put him in a room or a crate which could be used as a time out and keep him there for about 10 minutes secluded so he will learn that when he bites he gets time out. Also when you think he might bite you when you are going to touch him or pick him up use gardening gloves so if he does bite it wont hurt as bad.

Your puppy is teething and needs to bite and chew. It helps the teeth break through it's gums.
You need to give it different things to chew/bite on. Dog bisquits, chew bones, carrots, are just a few, that come to mind.
When it tries to bite you, give it a carrot to bite. Carry pieces around with you.
It will soon learn that you are not something good to eat, but the carrot will be good to chew on.
Be patient, it's a young pup and it will outgrow this stage, once it's teeth are through the gums.

Your pup is beginning to cut his adult teeth so he needs something to chew on. It is your responsibility to provide him with the proper chewing material or he will find anything he can to chew on. Puppies teeth and gums get sore and the baby teeth need to get out of his mouth so they chew everything if you let them. This could also be a behavior problem as well. Try obedience training. Owning a pet gets expensive that is why people should think long and hard before they get a pet.

Awww..that's so cute. I sure wish I had a little doggie! You sure are lucky. It sounds like you need to slap him lightly with a newspaper or spray him with a bit of water and say NO when he does that, if you really want him to stop. I kind of wonder, though, if it's just a phase he's going thru for his age. If that's true, then he'll probably stop on his own. He's just showing his puppy love, sounds like to me. Even humans at a young age like to show affection by pinching or tickling..lol

You can hope that he stops teething soon, or you might try buying something to chew on. This is a very common problem with puppies that lasts until the adult teeth come in.

okay just say "______, NO BITING" really strictly. of course she wont listen to you,, so after the second time saying it, give her a swat. then say it again. It will take about a week to learn. She will still bite you but all youll have to say when she learns is "_____ NO BITING" and she will stop immediatly so as not to get swatted.
by the way... _______ = is in place for her name.

its probably because his teeth are starting to grow and he needs something to chew on. everytime he goes to bite some one, put a toy in his mouth instead so that he will chew it.
