you can tell him in a letter too
you can call him on the phone
you can chat with him on line too
you can tell him in an instant message
or you tell him in a text message too

Just out of curiosity, have you ever met in person? I fell deeply in love with my first boyfriend online, but after meeting him in real life I found that he wasn't the one for me. There are some things it is hard to tell if you have an online and phone-only relationship. For instance, you can talk about your interests over the phone, but in real life, how often do you actually go do those things? If you suggest going and doing one of his favorites, will he actually feel like doing that activity that day? There are many things you just don't know about a person until you are with them a lot in person.

That being said, I think it is wonderful that you are in love. I was truly in love with my online boyfriend, but I'm glad that we didn't decide to immediately get married. Instead we moved so we could be around each other in person for a few years. After about a year, we were not in love anymore because our lives were just headed in different directions.

The man I ended up marrying wanted to tell me he loved me over the internet - he typed that there was something he wanted to tell me, and I knew what it was. But after my first experience with the guy typing that he loved me, it just wasn't special that way. I told the man who is now my husband something like "Other people probably feel the same way, but some things are best said in person." He typed LOL and understood. A few weeks later, when he drove about 600 miles to visit me, he held my face, looked into my eyes, and told me he loved me. That was a million times more memorable than text in a chat room. Even so, he proposed online and I have always regretted that - I still feel like I missed out on the whole "guy getting down on one knee and proposing" deal.

I would recommend calling your boyfriend over the phone, or using a webcam and a microphone to tell him you love him. That way you can at least see each other's faces. Or maybe you can find a way to arrange a visit and tell him in person.

Write him a letter or send him an email. Maybe fly out there to see him and say you love him.
Send him a postcard. Go to where he lives at and maybe see if you can move there too.

Mail him an empty salt shaker and a man's pair of shoes with a note in one shoe which says "I do not want to walk a mile in your shoes, but when you get home we can walk a lifetime together." And in the salt shaker put a note which says "Life without you is empty and without season."

e-mail better yet use a web cam and get in touch with him that way that way you will at least be able to see each other while you chat and show your feelings for each other. if that isn't possible at least write him a letter and send him a card and' or small gift

hi, but first of all, have you even talked to him over the phone? because there is no way that your going to be sure if you like that person unless you have a phone conversation. even then, you would have to meet the person and there is no guarrantee that your going to like him. stay away from long distance relationships. find someone localy. that's my opinion.
