the fashion district and in the center of that, the alley or santee alley. santee alley runs along an alley between santee st and maple ave from olympic blvd to pico blvd

the fashion district borders 5th st in the north, broadway in the west, as far as the 10 fwy in the south and passing san pedro in the east. with the santee alley being the mecca of it all.
-men's wear usually runs along los angeles st from 7th st to 9th street and again in an area bordering main st., 14th st, maple ave., & the 10 fwy
-women's wear pretty much everywhere with the most concentrated in the alley and around it.

there's also fabrics in this area though it's more the garment district and that's to the northeast corner of the fashion district., accessories, kids wear, shoes, shoes and shoes!!!! you name it, it's there!!

p.s. provided a link for you below...didn't even know that was there, my friend told me when I was verifying the area with her!! we used to go all the time cause we work by there.
