I'd say just focus on what a rotten thing she did and do you really want someone in your life who could be so inconsiderate of your feelings.

Been there - not fun. I've walked that road and to be honest and a little melodramatic it definitely changed me. At the time I tried to drink my problems away - a bottle of vodka, a chickfriend -not a good combination and it sure as heck didn't make me feel better.
I don't know if there is any real way to get over it right away, there is no "quick fix", sorry. The secret I think is to hang in there, spend time with friends and get rid of everything that reminds you of her, stay away from sad songs and most especially from her! Just get out there and get back to yourself, rediscover who you are by yourself - not as part of a couple. Eventually another girl will come along that deserves the whole you . . . don't hold this bad experience against the next girl - it's not her fault.

Take one day at a time and remember to keep breathing. It will get easier every day. Trying doing something that you and the woman never did together with friends. Try keeping yourself busy until one day you'll realize, she's only a memory.
